Pre-Care

Achieve the best results by following these essential steps:

  • Mindful Exercise: Avoid vigorous workouts 24 hours before your procedure. This helps minimize blood flow and potential discomfort during the treatment.
  • Hydration Matters: Skip alcohol and caffeine 48 hours prior. Remember, caffeine hides even in decaf beverages. Optimal hydration sets the stage for successful pigment retention.
  • Sun Shield: Protect your skin from the sun and tanning activities a week before the procedure. Sunburned skin can impact both the process and healing.
  • Medication Awareness: Refrain from Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, and Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before your session. These can contribute to excessive bleeding and hinder color absorption.
  • Nutritional Caution: Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes, and "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements 48 hours prior. Opt for nutrients that won't affect the procedure's success.
  • Skin Prep: Cease using Retin-A four weeks before and avoid it on the eyebrow area post-procedure. Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products should be avoided two weeks prior and after as well.
  • Injectable Insights: If Botox or fillers are not a regular part of your routine, avoid them in the forehead, temple, and eye area one month before microblading.
  • Natural Growth: No brow waxing, tinting, or threading a week prior. Natural hair growth enhances the final look, so let your brows flourish.
  • Skin's Rest: Steer clear of Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, or facials for four weeks before the procedure. Allow your skin time to settle before the transformation.

By following these pre-care instructions, you prepare for a microblading experience that produces amazing, long-lasting results.

Please Note: If undergoing menstrual cycles, you may be more sensitive to treatments.

After-Care

Explore Cinzia's thorough microblading after-care regimen, which has been carefully planned to protect your stunning results and encourage optimal healing.

Following these simple procedures will ensure that your microbladed brows retain their amazing beauty and endurance:

  • Gentle Cleansing: Keep the brow area clean using a natural, fragrance-free gel cleanser like Cetaphil. Wash hands thoroughly before cleaning, avoiding abrasive washcloths or sponges.
  • Air Dry and Ointment Application: Allow your eyebrows to air dry fully before applying the recommended after-care ointment for the artist-specified number of days. Use freshly washed hands or a Q-Tip.
  • Hands-Off Approach: Refrain from rubbing, picking, or scratching the treated area. Let scabs and dry skin naturally exfoliate to prevent scarring and pigment loss.
  • Sun Protection: Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks. Sun exposure during healing can alter pigment color and lead to hyperpigmentation and scarring.
  • No Sweat Zone: Steer clear of pools, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and baths for 3 weeks. Minimize sweating for 10 days to prevent pigment expulsion.
  • Sleeping and Hair Care: Sleep without putting pressure on your brows for the first 10 days. Keep hair, especially bangs, away from your face during this period.
  • Makeup and Skincare Rest: Refrain from using makeup or skincare products on the treated area for two weeks.
  • Professional Treatments Pause: Avoid facials, chemical treatments, and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks to protect the healing process.
  • Botox Timing: Wait 4 weeks before getting Botox. Consider post-touch-up healing when deciding on Botox placement.
  • Sunblock Consideration: After 10 days, use sunblock to preserve color and prevent fading when outdoors.
  • Eyebrow Tinting: Wait 2 weeks after the procedure before undergoing eyebrow tinting.
  • Post-Healing Skincare: Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels, and Microdermabrasion around the brow area after healing.

By following these after-care instructions, you'll ensure your microblading experience shines and maintains its beauty for the long term.

Please note: Eyebrows will appear darker and bolder due to natural healing for the first two weeks. This is very common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.
